The most beautiful-ist thing(s) in the world

I've known about D-Nice's photo blog for awhile. Wonderful photos.

Yo, you think he does headshots???

Swingin on 'em

I really like this song from this album.

I really like my haircut. My barber is so frickin good it's out of control.

I really like this freestyle .

And, after watching all three seasons of The L Word, I'm excited for the fourth. One of my favorite playwrights is a part of the writing team.

Oh and I plan on being an actor for 7 days in late June.

Blank slate

I jumped on the "new and improved" Blogger bandwagon and the relocation now requires reconstruction.

Also this Thanksgiving weekend marks the one year anniversary of my online empire *cue techno music and ballon drop*.

I hoped to celebrate with a "new and improved" site but life is jam packed with time consuming goodies.

It'll take some time but changes are coming . . .

Me & Mr. Big in Starbuck's

I was in Starbuck's by NYU this morning getting my grande skim latte and all of a sudden Chris Noth aka "Mr. Big" is standing next to me. Holy shit. He looks. . .really. . .really. . .good. Okay, so I know he's gotten chunky and he's lost a lil' va-voom since his Sex and the City run, but this morning he looked. . .really. . . really good. I played the typical New Yorker and pretended to be completely unruffled by his presence. We both put three sugars in our coffee. He also enjoys skim milk. He smells nice.

It's Like That -- UPDATE

So the group of kids I saw last week who were rockin' old skool hiphop gear are known as the Retro Kids.

There's an article about them in today's NYTimes style section.

So cute.

BASS

I bought the V-Moda bass freq headphones today in black. I was skeptical that such tiny buds could produce deep bass but these suckers have proven me wrong.

My question: why can't Shure create an affordable headphone with the same amount of bass?

I loved the E2c brand but the bass was w-h-a-c-k.

It's Like That

Last night I was in Union Square with a friend and we spotted a krew of young Black boys dressed to the nine in early 80s hiphop fashion!!!! I'm talking about high top fades, sateen jackets, rope chains, name plate rings, and ol' skool sneakers with the fat laces. My heart melted and I screamed in delight. Could it be this style is coming back? There are a few things I could do without: spandex, stirrup pants, the extra long acrylic fingernails and the crack epidemic but I'm so excited for the rest. I'm planning ways to incorporate the good stuff into my wardrobe.

The visual element:

And the high top fades in House Party are on point:

Linktown

I'm too lazy to update my own happenings.
Here are a series of links for your enjoyment:

My favorite gossip blog YBF posted before they were stars pics. Andre 3000 & Big Boi were so cute.

Some might find gansta (w)rapping paper whack but I like it. I like it a lot.

I'm jonesing for "old skool" sneakers: these, and these.

Shiny Happy Playwrights Holding Hands . . .

Lisa, Anne, and Sarah have shows up in NYC and you should make it a point to go see 'em.

Can you believe it's already November?
